Emergence of Language in the Developing Brain
收藏资源简介:
Derived data underlying the figures and statistics of Evanson et al., "Emergence of Language in the Developing Brain", Science Advances (2026). Intracranial (sEEG) recordings were obtained from 65 participants, from early childhood to adulthood (age ranges 1 to 18+ years), undergoing intracranial monitoring for epilepsy while they listened to the French audiobook "Le Petit Prince". The tables contain participant age ranges, electrode locations on the fsaverage template, decoding and encoding (TRF) scores for phonetic, lexical, supralexical and AI-model (wav2vec 2.0, Llama 3.1) features, and evoked responses to word and phoneme onsets. See README.md for a description of every file and column. Code to reproduce all figures and tables from these files: https://github.com/linnea-evanson/emergence-of-language
