Wyoming Springs

The springs dataset was compiled by the WSGS for the Surface Water Resource Map of Wyoming: Streamflows and Storage MS-91 located at https://www.wsgs.wyo.gov/pubs-maps/publication-search.aspx?PubID=MS-91. Springs were digitized from all Wyoming USGS 1:100,000 scale topographic maps statewide and attributed with their name, group, and type as indicated by map symbology and annotation. Springs were also added from the WSGS Geothermal Resource series (ROI-26, ROI-29, ROI-36, and ROI-38) and the Mineral Hot Springs of Wyoming (WSGS Bulletin 19). This dataset includes only the spring locations available in the named publications and does not include all springs. Locations are only accurate to the scale of the mapping in the source publication.
