Digital Reunification of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland’s Historic Library and Archives

This dataset contains a transcription of the 1949 and 1955 disposal lists from the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) Library, recording the various National and specialist institutions, and Scottish and UK universities, to which they were allocated as a gift. It also includes, as far as has been possible from the various surviving listings, a list of items that were transferred on deposit in 1934/5 to the National Library of Scotland and to Register House (now the National Records of Scotland).
