Left Motor Cortex Contributes to Auditory Phonological Discrimination

This dataverse contains magnetoencephalography (MEG) and behavioural data from a project investigating the role of the speech motor system in speech perception. Specifically, we investigated whether the speech motor system showed increased activity with increasing noise intensity as part of a compensatory mechanism to disambiguate the signal, and whether the speech motor system was involved in phonological processing.
