资源简介:
3D figure showing the relationship between elevation, chemical similarity for the most aromatic, light-absorbing metabolites (upper-quartile nAtomP), and chemical similarity for the most polar metabolites (lower-quartile ALogP). Each data point represents a tree species in a forest plot, with point size scaled by abundance. Hovering reveals the species, family, elevation, and trait data. Species in high-elevation forest plots are remarkably similar with respect to the most polar and most aromatic metabolites, indicating shared or very structurally similar metabolites with these properties.
