This dataset is a collection of regional boundary shapefiles, not elsewhere provided, used as spatial overlays to derive spatial summary statistics of various hazard, climate and other ecological raster data. The collection informed the assessment of freshwater and terrestrial natural environments as part of the National Climate Risk Assessment (NCRA). The shapefiles are derived from the intersection of publicly available 3rd party input data such as NCRA region boundaries, NCRA Hazard grids, Geofabric Level 2 Basins and Geofabric Network Streamlines.\n\nThe shapefiles (not elsewhere provided) in this collection include:\nNCRA Regions x Aggregate Ecosystem Groups\n5km NCRA Hazard cells intersecting Geofabric Perennial Streams x Geofabric Level Basin\n5km NCRA Hazard cells intersecting Geofabric Non- Perennial Streams x Geofabric Level Basin\n\nAll layers are ESRI shapefiles in the GCS WGS 1984 (EPSG 4326)\nLineage: The input data used to derive the Regional Boundary shapefiles are:\n\n1. NCRA Regions\n2. A polygonised representation of NCRA Hazard raster data supplied by the Australian Climate Service (ACS)\n3. Level 2 drainage basins from the Australian Hydrological Geospatial Fabric (AHGF) v3\n4. Network Streams from the Australian Hydrological Geospatial Fabric (AHGF) v3\n5. Aggregate Ecosystem Groups (AEGs) derived from National Vegetation Information System (NVIS) data\n\nAll processing was carried out using the Overlay Tools available in ArcGIS Desktop 10.8 with inputs reprojected to WGS84 before intersecting.\n\nDERIVED Region Boundaries\n\n1. NCRA Regions x Aggregate Ecosystem Groups:\n NCRA Regions were combined with the polygonised AEGs using ArcGIS Intersect tool\n output shapefile - NCRA_x_AEG_regions_WGS84.shp\n\n2. 5km NCRA Hazard cells intersecting Geofabric Perennial Streams x Geofabric Level Basin:\n Hazard cell polygons were selected based on their spatial intersection with Geofabric Network Streams where the Perennial attribute is "Perennial".\n The selected cells were then combined with the Geofabric Level 2 Basins using ArcGIS Intersect tool.\n output shapefile - Perennial_x_GeofabricLevel2Basins_WGS84_singleparts2.shp\n\n3. 5km NCRA Hazard cells intersecting Geofabric Non-Perennial Streams x Geofabric Level Basin:\n Hazard cell polygons were selected based on their spatial intersection with Geofabric Network Streams where the Perennial attribute is "Non Perennial".\n The selected cells were then combined with the Geofabric Level 2 Basins using ArcGIS Intersect tool.\n output shapefile - NonPerennial_x_GeofabricLevel2Basins_WGS84_singleparts2.shp\n\n\n

2. 与Geofabric常年溪流相交的5km分辨率NCRA灾害栅格单元 × Geofabric流域
3. 与Geofabric非常年溪流相交的5km分辨率NCRA灾害栅格单元 × Geofabric流域
所有图层均为采用GCS WGS 1984(EPSG 4326)坐标系的ESRI shapefile格式文件。
数据溯源:用于生成区域边界shapefile的输入数据如下:
1. NCRA区域
2. 由澳大利亚气候服务局(Australian Climate Service, ACS)提供的NCRA灾害栅格数据的多边形化表达结果
3. 澳大利亚水文地理空间数据集(Australian Hydrological Geospatial Fabric, AHGF)v3版本的二级汇水流域
4. 澳大利亚水文地理空间数据集(AHGF)v3版本的水系流线
5. 基于国家植被信息系统(National Vegetation Information System, NVIS)数据生成的聚合生态群(AEGs)
所有数据处理均通过ArcGIS Desktop 10.8中的叠加分析工具完成,输入数据在进行相交运算前已统一重投影至WGS84坐标系。
衍生区域边界详情如下:
1. NCRA区域 × 聚合生态群:通过ArcGIS相交工具将NCRA区域与多边形化后的聚合生态群进行空间合并,输出shapefile文件为NCRA_x_AEG_regions_WGS84.shp
2. 与Geofabric常年溪流相交的5km分辨率NCRA灾害栅格单元 × Geofabric二级流域:首先基于空间相交关系,筛选出属性为“常年”的Geofabric水系溪流所对应的相交灾害栅格多边形单元,随后通过ArcGIS相交工具将筛选后的单元与Geofabric二级流域进行空间合并,输出shapefile文件为Perennial_x_GeofabricLevel2Basins_WGS84_singleparts2.shp
3. 与Geofabric非常年溪流相交的5km分辨率NCRA灾害栅格单元 × Geofabric二级流域:首先基于空间相交关系,筛选出属性为“非常年”的Geofabric水系溪流所对应的相交灾害栅格多边形单元,随后通过ArcGIS相交工具将筛选后的单元与Geofabric二级流域进行空间合并,输出shapefile文件为NonPerennial_x_GeofabricLevel2Basins_WGS84_singleparts2.shp
