A mechanism-resolved diagnostic catalog for SDSS–DESI CLAGN-like repeat-spectroscopic triggers

This dataset contains the machine-readable CSV tables used in the manuscript “A mechanism-resolved diagnostic catalog for SDSS–DESI CLAGN-like repeat-spectroscopic triggers”. The files include the parent-sample filtering summary, ambiguity-enriched target-pool selection summary, 16,746-object target catalog, DESI cross-match results, the 647-object reliable-discrepancy catalog, the 747-object multimodal feature table, the 735-object no-leakage model matrix, the ablation-test summary, the label-provenance audit table, the high-priority review table, and the literature CLAGN cross-match table. These tables support the sample construction, mechanism labeling, feature-utility tests, high-priority follow-up triage, label-audit analysis, and comparison with the literature-confirmed SDSS–DESI CLAGN catalog. The mechanism labels are conservative diagnostic interpretations of apparent CLAGN-like SDSS–DESI discrepancies and should not be interpreted as confirmed changing-look AGN classifications. The original public survey data are not redistributed in this repository. They are available through the respective public archives of SDSS, DESI, the Legacy Surveys, WISE/AllWISE, Gaia, and ZTF.
