Simultaneous XMM-Newton and NuSTAR Observations of IGR J16318-4848

We propose to observe the Comptonthick source IGR J163184848 with XMMNewtonsimultaneously to our already approved NuSTAR science team observation. Our aimis to measure the first high signal to noise, high resolution broad bandspectrum of this type of source. Our goal is to constrain the geometry of theabsorber in the system further through broadband spectroscopy, analysis of theIron line, including the search for a Compton shoulder, and a measurement of theresponse of the iron line flux to continuum variations. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
