ISIMIP2b global water model streamflow example data

This dataset contains mean annual values for streamflow (river discharge) as calculated by the ISIMIP2b global water models for a particular GCM (IPSL-CM5A-LR) and the time period 1971-1980. Unit is m3 s-1, more details are provided in the netcdf metadata.

The datasets provided here are used as input data for assessing the stream networks used in those models. In particular, the purpose is to map the gridded long-term average streamflow in order to explore if streamflow observation stations are located within the stream network of the individual models. This is the precondition for a fair and comprehensive model evaluation.

The data are a snapshot from the global water sector of the Inter-Sectoral Impact Model Intercomparison Project (ISIMIP) phase 2b. More details are given via www.isimip.org.
