Uganda (2011): TRaC study measuring provider Practices related to IUDs and Implants in 34 districts in Uganda, Round one

This survey aims to answer three fundamental questions related to segmentation, monitoring and evaluation of providers. 1. Segmentation. What are the opportunity, ability and motivation factors and population characteristics significantly correlated with prescribing / providing /recommending a specific modern family planning method? 2. Monitoring. What are the levels and trends evident in other key behavior, risk, and perceptions. At Profam providers what is the level of exposure to PACE activities? 3. Evaluation. Is exposure PACE activities related to differences in opportunity, ability and motivation indicators, risk, and behavior? A cross sectional design approach using structured face to face interviews was used to survey 522 providers in 34 districts.
