University journals from selected countries in OpenAlex

This dataset supports an exploratory audit of publisher-affiliation metadata for university journals in OpenAlex. It includes 60 university journals from ten selected countries: Afghanistan, Albania, Bahamas, Barbados, Cambodia, Cyprus, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Tajikistan, and Yemen. The data were collected from OpenAlex on 22-23 January 2025 and 19-20 January 2026, with the journal and publisher information verified manually against the journals' websites and the ISSN Portal.
