Microbiome diversity of soil sediments across different locations in the Ganga River

We collected three soil sediment samples from each of the six different locations, Rishikesh (RA1, RB2, and RC3), Haridwar (HA1, HB2, and HC3), Kanpur (KPA1, KPB2, and KPC3), Varanasi (VA1, VB2, and VC3), Patna (PA1, PB2, and PC3), and Kolkata (KA1, KB2, and KC3). The microbiome analyses included DNA extraction, amplification of V3-V4 regions of 16s RNA genes, library preparation, and DNA sequencing analysis.
