Neutralization of SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant is increased after heterologous ChAdOx1 nCoV-19/BNT162b2 versus homologous BNT162b2 vaccination

We provide data on immunogenicity of heterologous ChAd/BNT vaccination in comparison to homologous BNT/BNT immunization and show that the heterologous regimen increases live virus neutralization capacity of the SARS-CoV-2 Delta VOC in female participants, especially those with more severe side effects leading to sick leave after second vaccination. IgA levels in both vaccine regimens were overall low, but higher after BNT/BNT vaccination.
