Quantifying the Role of EMIC Wave Scattering During the 27 February 2014 Storm by RAM-SCB Simulations

RAM_inputs_201402RBe_and_RCp.h5 contains the initial conditions derived based on the Van Allen Probes' measurements for the RAM-SCB model.

RAM_output_flux.zip includes the simulated omni-directional flux and differential fluxes by without including EMIC waves (woEMIC), with including EMIC waves (wEMIC), with only including He-band EMIC waves (onlyHe), and with only including H-band EMIC waves (onlyHy) along Van Allen Probe B's orbit.

Bw_AL3.zip includes the statistical EMIC wave amplitude under very disturbed geomagnetic conditions.

Daa.zip contains the calculated pitch angle diffusion coefficients on 20 and 23 UT of February 27 for both electrons and protons.

Precipitating_eandp_flux.zip consists of the simulated precipitating fluxes for both radiation belt electrons and ring current protons on 23 UT of February 27.
