Leaf Optical Traits collected at the University of Saskatchewan (LOTUS) This dataset was collected to add to and expand upon currently leaf optical datasets. It is intended for use in leaf optical modelling towards precision agriculture. The following traits are collected for 290 leaf samples: Hemispherical reflectance and transmittance Partial Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF) reflectance and transmittance factors Polarized light reflectance factors Biochemical analysis (chlorophyll a and b, carotenoids, anthocyanins) Biophysical analysis (water, dry matter content, leaf thickness, leaf surface properties) Microscope and other image data
