Dataset Description This dataset contains crop yield simulations for maize and soybean across the contiguous United States, performed with the WOFOST, DSSAT (CERES-Maize/CROPGRO-Soybean), and BioCro models. Data include perturbation experiments (2001–2020) and climate change projections (RCP 4.5/8.5).The data support the findings presented in the article "Functional diversity among crop models reveals contrasting resilience of soybean and maize to heatwaves and CO₂ enrichment". File Structure 1. Perturbation Experiments (2001–2020) Data are organized by crop and model in individual ZIP files. Path: {ID}{M/S}_C{CO2}T{Temp}H{Heatwave} Scenario ID convention: {ID}{M/S}_C{CO2}T{Temp}H{Heatwave}_{Year}.csv M/S: Maize (e.g., 1M) / Soybean (e.g., 1S). C: CO₂ concentration (ppm). T: Temp. increase (BL: Baseline, 1.5, 2.5, 4.0). H: Heatwave scenario (H0=Control, H1, H2, H3, H123). Columns: id / real_id: Spatial grid cell identifier. yield / Grain: Simulated grain yield (t ha⁻¹). 2. RCP Projections (Mid & Late Century) Located in RCP_All.zip.
