Czech Scholars Prosopographical Dataset

This dataset provides a curated prosopographical collection of Czech scholars, academics, historians, and intellectuals who conducted research, published works, or otherwise contributed to the study of Silesia (Śląsk). It brings together biographical and bibliographical information, institutional affiliations, academic and professional activities, research interests, publications concerning Silesia, archival references, and relevant scholarly sources. The dataset is designed to support research on the intellectual and scholarly study of Silesia, with particular emphasis on the Czech scholarly tradition and its contribution to the historical, cultural, geographical, and social understanding of the region. It enables researchers to examine individual scholars and their works, as well as broader networks, institutions, research traditions, and patterns of knowledge production concerning Silesia.
