data for-Invasive C4 plants causes greater soil greenhouse gas emissions than C3 plants: A Meta-Analysis

Examining the effects of invasive plants on the emissions of soil greenhouse gases (GHGs) is essential for developing effective strategies to offset the invasion impacts on ecosystems and mitigate global warming. In this study, we present a global meta-analysis of 104 studies to probe the responses of three GHGs (carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O)) from the soils to plant invasion. Our results showed that plant invasion significantly increased the emissions of soil CO2, CH4, and N2O.
