This dataset provides actual evapotranspiration data for 56 typical large global river basins with an area greater than 100,000 km², derived based on the water balance method. The data spans the period from 1983 to 2016, with an annual temporal resolution. This dataset is calculated using runoff observed by hydrological stations, four precipitation products (GPCC, CRU, MSWEP, and GPCP), and three water storage change datasets (GRACE/GRACE-REC products from JPL, GSFC, and CSR), with error corrections applied to the precipitation products.
