A Cortico-basal ganglia-thalamo-cortical Channel Underlying Short-term Memory

In this research, we studied the function of cortico-basal ganglia-thalamo-cortical circuit during mice performing a delayed response task. Combined with optogenetics and electrophysiological recordings, we revealed the specific contributions of this circuit during maintaining of short-term memory. Here, we provide: 1. Single units, recorded in behavior mice with different optogenetics manipulations, and related behavior data. 2. MATLAB codes for data analysis.本研究针对执行延迟反应任务的小鼠，探究了皮层-基底神经节-丘脑-皮层环路（cortico-basal ganglia-thalamo-cortical circuit）的功能。结合光遗传学（optogenetics）与电生理记录（electrophysiological recordings）技术，我们揭示了该环路在短时记忆维持过程中的特异性作用。本数据集包含以下内容： 1. 经不同光遗传学操控的行为学小鼠的单神经元单位记录数据及相关行为学数据； 2. 用于数据分析的MATLAB代码。
