Three years of horuly data from of 3125 smart heat meters installed in Denmark

<strong>Please be aware that it was discovered that this data is not only from residential buildings. We would like to refer to the updated new version (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6563114) of this data which included also contextual data. This contextual data allows to identify the type of building in which the smart heat meter is installed and also increases the usability by providing the construction year and where available the energy label. </strong> This dataset includes three years of cleaned hourly data from 3125 commercial smart heat meters installed in Danish buildings. The anonymised raw data and a cleaned, interpolated, and imputed equidistant dataset are included. Additionally, all code, written in R, used for data processing and extensive technical validation of the data is included. Additionally, code to explore the data pattern using z-score normalised data is included. <strong>This release is prior to submission for peer review. </strong>
