This file contains all the raw data as used in the analyses of Saarinen and Lister (2023), apart from Proboscidean supertree data that has been published before in Cantalapiedra et al. (2021). The data contain dental morphometric measurements and dental mesowear angle measurements of East African fossil and extant Proboscidea from 26 million years to present, as well as contextual paleoenvironmental and paleoclimatological proxy data gathered from published literature sources (and referenced in the tables where appropriate).
