资源简介:
Samples from 21 sites excavated as part of the Mid-America Pipeline Company's Rocky
Mountain Expansion Loop pipeline project in eastern Utah and western Colorado were examined
for macrofloral remains. These sites represent a wide range of site types and occupations,
including the Archaic Era, Formative Era, Anasazi Pueblo II, Protohistoric, Ute, and Historic
periods. Macrofloral analysis will be used to determine plant resources utilized by the various
occupants of these sites, which will aid in providing information about prehistoric use and
adaptations in the project area. Macrofloral analysis can be used to help address problem
domains of subsistence, seasonality, paleoenvironment, and site function.
