ArEEG_Chars

ArEEG_Chars是由阿拉伯国际大学信息与通信工程系创建的，旨在通过脑电图（EEG）信号识别阿拉伯字母的数据集。该数据集包含39,857条记录，由30名阿拉伯语母语者参与收集，年龄跨度从15岁至62岁。数据收集过程中，参与者被要求在观看阿拉伯字母后，闭眼想象该字母，每次记录持续10秒，间隔20秒。该数据集主要用于脑机接口（BCI）研究，特别是在想象语音识别领域，以帮助瘫痪人士改善生活质量。

ArEEG_Chars is a dataset created by the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at Arab International University, designed for recognizing Arabic letters using electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. This dataset contains 39,857 records, collected from 30 Arabic native speakers with an age range of 15 to 62 years. During the data collection process, participants were instructed to close their eyes and imagine the presented Arabic letter after viewing it. Each recording lasts for 10 seconds, with a 20-second interval between successive recordings. This dataset is primarily used for brain-computer interface (BCI) research, particularly in the field of imagined speech recognition, to help people with paralysis improve their quality of life.
