Phenology, outer fruit and inner fruit traits in the FruitBreedomics genetic resources material

This dataset contains phenotypic data for apple genetic resources from six European institutes. A total of 1194 unique genotypes (mainly old dessert apple cultivars) were phenotyped for at least one trait. Five traits, fruit over-color, fruit acidity, fruit crispness, fruit juiciness and harvest date, are made available in this dataset. The data were obtained from 1984 to 2014, as part of the genetic resources characterization mission of the institutes. Traits were evaluated according to the recommendations of the European Cooperative Programme for Plant Genetic Resources (ECPGR). This dataset was used in the paper by Cazenave et al. (2021) "Combining genetic resources and elite material populations to improve the accuracy of genomic prediction in apple", G3: Genes, Genomes, Genetics.本数据集包含来自6家欧洲科研机构的苹果遗传资源表型数据。共计1194个独特基因型（主要为古老鲜食苹果品种）针对至少一项性状完成了表型鉴定。本数据集公开了5项性状的表型数据，分别为果实覆色、果实酸度、果实脆度、果实多汁性与采收期。该数据集的数据采集于1984年至2014年间，为各机构开展遗传资源鉴定工作的组成部分。所有性状均按照欧洲植物遗传资源合作计划（European Cooperative Programme for Plant Genetic Resources, ECPGR）的相关建议进行评估。本数据集曾被Cazenave等人于2021年发表在《G3: Genes, Genomes, Genetics》的论文"Combining genetic resources and elite material populations to improve the accuracy of genomic prediction in apple"中使用。
