Shared Mobility Device Equity Emphasis Areas

Areas designated to enable equitable distribution of shared mobile devices in Arlington County. These areas roughly correspond to some geographic neighborhoods in Arlington County where there is a focus on shared mobility device usage. These areas were determined by Bike Arlington and provided to Arlington County. Bicycle and scooter parking corrals - typically on street level, protected by parking blocks and delineators, they provide safe and convenient places to park bicycles and scooters (whether personal or for-rent) upright and out of the way of pedestrians and other road users. Current locations are shown, as well as locations with hardware temporality removed for road work or similar. The dataset may also include planned or future locations.
