True Positive (TP): A positive object that is (correctly) annotated as positive by the pipeline False Positive (FP): A negative object that is (incorrectly) annotated as positive by the pipeline False Negative (FN): A positive object that is missed by the pipeline. Precision = TP/(TP+FP) Recall = TP/(TP+FN) F-score = 2×Precision×Recall/(Precision+Recall). The performance of the Whatizit ANA pipeline might be a bit overestimated since we evaluate false positive annotations only and there are accession numbers likely to be missed by the publishers and the pipeline.
