AI's ability to effectively solving intricate challenges in education has been well-recognized. ChatGPT is currently the most impressive tool among these AI. Since its launch in December 2022, it has influenced users' creativity in various ways and occupies an increasingly important place in higher education. This article aims to investigate the impact of OpenAI applications on students' creativity, entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurial intentions. A conceptual model linking AI, creativity, entrepreneurial skills and intention was proposed based on literature review. The model was tested by the empirical data from 166 students (including 68 undergraduates and 98 master's degree students) taking innovation and entrepreneurship courses. It was found that the application of ChatGPT has a positive impact on students\u2019 creativity, ultimately increasing their entrepreneurial intention and achieving the goal of improving the performance of entrepreneurship education.
