Map of Cordilleera Real Nord (Illampu)

Glacier maps 1 : 50000 exist of the glaciers around lllampu (6368 m) from surveys in 1928, 1963 and 1975, of the glaciers of IIlimani (6420 m) in 1975 and 1983, respectively. From these maps glacier changes 1928 - 1963 - 1975 - 1983 have been evaluated. Their retreat is smaller than that of corresponding glaciers in the Eastern Alps. The alpine advance that has begun in the sixties was not observed in the Cordillera Real.现有1:50000比例尺的冰川测绘图：其中一套基于1928年、1963年及1975年的野外测绘数据，覆盖伊尔坎普山（Illampu，海拔6368米）周边的冰川；另一套则分别基于1975年与1983年的测绘数据，涵盖伊利亚马尼山（Illimani，海拔6420米）的冰川。基于上述冰川图件，研究人员已对1928年—1963年、1963年—1975年及1975年—1983年三个时段的冰川变化开展了评估。该区域冰川的退缩幅度小于东阿尔卑斯（Eastern Alps）山区的对应冰川。20世纪60年代起在阿尔卑斯山区出现的冰川前进现象，并未在雷亚尔山脉（Cordillera Real）被观测到。
