Polishing Long read PacBio-based genome assembly of Ligilactobacillus equi F3d using Illumina NovaSeq6000 short reads

This dataset contains the refined genome assembly of L. equi F3d. We employed an in silico workflow in usegalaxy.org and usegalaxy.eu to polish a Third-Generation Sequencing (TGS) PacBio-based assembly using high-depth Illumina Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) NovaSeq6000 raw reads. This integration corrected 86 assembly errors (SNVs/Indels), significantly improving the consensus accuracy of the reference genome.
