Global Natural and Urban Soil Organic Carbon Stock Database

This dataset is used to present the meta-analysis results in Chien and Krumins’s paper (2022) titled “Natural versus urban global soil organic carbon stocks: A meta-analysis” in the journal of Science of The Total Environment . The paper mainly compares the soil organic carbon stocks between natural and urban habitats, and the comparison is also exhibited by varied climatic zones, vegetation types, and Human Footprint values (an unitless indicator, ranging from 0–50, to indicate the extent of human impact on land). The dataset is published here in open-access for reference.
本数据集用于呈现Chien与Krumins二人2022年发表于《整体环境科学》(Science of The Total Environment)期刊的题为《自然与城市全球土壤有机碳储量:一项荟萃分析》(Natural versus urban global soil organic carbon stocks: A meta-analysis)的研究中的荟萃分析结果。该研究主要对比了自然生境与城市生境的土壤有机碳储量,并依据不同气候区、植被类型以及人类足迹指数(Human Footprint,一种取值范围为0~50的无单位指标,用于表征人类对陆地的影响强度)展开了分层对比分析。本数据集以开放获取形式发布于此,可供参考借鉴。
