Collection-1 Landsat Level-3 Burned Area (BA) Science Product

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has developed and implemented an algorithm that identifies burned areas in U.S. Landsat Analysis Ready Data (ARD) tiles to produce Landsat Burned Area Products. The algorithm makes use of predictors derived from individual Landsat ARD tiles, lagged reference conditions, and change metrics between the tile and reference conditions. Tile-level products include pixel-level burn probability (BP) and burn classification (BC) images. These products were generated for the conterminous United States and Alaska for 1984 through 2017.美国地质调查局（U.S. Geological Survey, USGS）开发并实施了一套算法，可针对美国陆地卫星（Landsat）分析就绪数据（Analysis Ready Data, ARD）分幅影像识别过火区域，以此生成陆地卫星过火区域产品（Landsat Burned Area Products）。该算法利用从单幅Landsat ARD分幅影像提取的预测因子、滞后参考条件，以及分幅影像与参考条件间的变化指标开展计算。分幅级产品包含像素级燃烧概率（burn probability, BP）影像与燃烧分类（burn classification, BC）影像。上述产品已针对1984年至2017年期间的美国本土及阿拉斯加地区完成生成。
