Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Textile Dating, Borgund, Norway (2020-2023)

This is the first sweep of dates carried out on the archaeological textiles from the site of Borgund, off the western Coast of Norway. There are 6 dates in the series that were processed on the 08/02/2019 but due to a current embargo on the project, this material is not available at the present time. The dates belong to part of a series of accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) dates run on the site from diverse locations and time-frames. The project manager, Dr Gitten Hansen from the University of Bergen is currently still working on the phasing of the site.
