This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Semiempirical condensed structure analysis and quantification of disorder for extrusion-printed polylactide filaments”. The dataset includes raw characterization data from differential scanning caloremetry (DSC), dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMA), and wide angle X-ray scattering (WAXS). All the PLA filaments were extrusion-printed on a commercial 3D printer (3D-Bioplotter Developer, EnvisionTEC, Germany), and further post-treated by cold crystallization. We fabricated two groups of PLA filaments. Group (1) were printed at a fixed printing speed of 1 mm/s with fine-tuning of the printing pressure, and cold crystallized at 80°C for 0 hrs, 0.5 hrs, 1 hrs, 1.5 hrs, ... ,4.5 hrs, 12 hrs, and 24 hrs. Group (2) were printed at fixed pressure of 8 bars under gradually increased printing speeds from 10 mm/s to 100 mm/s at 10 mm/s intervals, and then cold crystallized at 80°C for 24 hrs.
