NATSEM - Social and Economic Indicators - Volunteering SA2 2016

This dataset presents the volunteering rate of the population in small regions of Australia based on the 2016 Census and aggregated following the 2016 edition of the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS). The data has been provided by The National Centre for Social and Economic Modelling (NATSEM).\n\nThis indicator is the number and proportion of people in the area who have done unpaid voluntary work through an organisation or group in the last 12 months.\n\nAll indicators were extracted from the ABS Tablebuilder system using the usual residence profile. For usual residence data, the ABS moves people back to where they live, rather than using the location the data were collected (place of enumeration). 本数据集基于2016年澳大利亚人口普查数据，依照2016版《澳大利亚统计地理标准（Australian Statistical Geography Standard，ASGS）》进行聚合，呈现了澳大利亚小型区域人口的志愿服务参与率。本数据集由澳大利亚社会与经济建模国家中心（National Centre for Social and Economic Modelling，NATSEM）提供。

该指标统计了过去12个月内，该区域内通过某一组织或团体参与无报酬志愿工作的人口数量及占比。

所有指标均通过常规居住概况（usual residence profile）从澳大利亚统计局（Australian Bureau of Statistics，ABS）Tablebuilder系统中提取。对于常规居住数据，澳大利亚统计局会将统计对象归类至其实际居住地址，而非数据采集时的枚举地点。相较于个体层面数据，常规居住数据更具优势，因其可消除受访者因出行或度假带来的统计偏差。
