JMA conducted National Register eligibility studies of three Corps-owned breakwaters in Lake Champlain: Rouses Point (New York), Gordon’s Landing (Vermont), and Swanton Harbor (Vermont). The investigation consisted of background research, field investigations, and significance evaluations. Background research was conducted at a variety of universities, historical societies, archives, and websites. Field investigations consisted of visual inspection of the above surface components of the breakwaters, and subsurface inspections with sonar and a remotely operated vehicle. JMA recommended all three breakwaters eligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and presented these recommendations in the form of NRHP nomination forms.JMA对尚普兰湖（Lake Champlain）内3座工程兵团所属防波堤开展了国家史迹名录（National Register of Historic Places, NRHP）资格认定研究，这三座防波堤分别为纽约州的劳斯点（Rouses Point）、佛蒙特州的戈登登陆点（Gordon’s Landing）以及佛蒙特州的斯旺顿港（Swanton Harbor）。 本次调查涵盖背景研究、实地勘察与价值评估三个环节。背景研究依托多所高校、历史学会、档案馆及各类网络平台开展；实地勘察包括对防波堤地表结构的目视检查，以及借助声呐与遥控无人潜航器（remotely operated vehicle）完成的水下探测。JMA认定上述三座防波堤均符合国家史迹名录的收录资格，并以NRHP提名表的形式提交了相关推荐意见。
