Ophthalmic Stroke Biomarkers in south Asia

This was a cross sectional hospital based study of stroke survivors who were evaluated for recall of their stroke signs and symptoms by the VISA tool as well as detailed history taking and examination to determine the systemic and ophthalmic associations of the condition. This was expected to provide leads towards a possible biomarker for stroke in the relatively younger stroke subjects.本研究为一项基于医院的横断面研究，纳入脑卒中幸存者作为研究对象；通过VISA工具（VISA tool）、详细病史采集与体格检查，对受试者的脑卒中体征与症状回忆情况进行评估，以明确该疾病的全身及眼部关联表现。本研究旨在为相对年轻的脑卒中受试者群体探寻潜在脑卒中生物标志物提供研究线索。
