资源简介:
Motility of nematode sperm is driven by unique motor system consisting of Major sperm protein (MSP) filaments. Although many proteins with MSP domain persist in plants, fungi and other animals, motor functions of MSPs have been found only in nematodes to date.As mentioned above, MSPs are nematode-specific motor proteins. But, in fact, these proteins have been studied only in class Chromadorea. In another class Enoplea, which includes two subclasses Dorylaimia and Enoplia, a presence of MSP in sperm and its functions have not been studied. Enoplia has been supposed to be a group closest to nematode ancestor, so investigation of fuction and molecular evolutions Enoplia MSPs may elucidate, when and how MSPs acquire motor fuction during nematode evolution.
