The orchestrated cellular and molecular responses of the kidney to endotoxin define a precise sepsis timeline

Utilizing single cell RNA sequencing, we demonstrated multiple time-anchored, cell-type specific events that are key to understand clinical features of sepsis. Overall design: Wild type mouse kidneys were harvested and used for single cell RNAseq to examine baseline gene expression patterns across 0,1,4,16,27,36, and 48 hour timepoints after endotoxin (LPS) administration. Library kit used for this dataset: Chromium Single Cell 3' Reagent Kits V2 was used with read1 L=26 and read2 L=91 configuration.
