This dataset combines data from IRENA, IEA and UN COM Trade. It contains power sector capacity and generation by each type of renewable and non-renewable power, domestic production of fossil fuels (coal, oil, gas), and imports of each of these types of fossil fuels. It covers the period from 2000 to 2022. It allows for the analysis of the capacity and generation of renewables, and how these impact fossil fuel use.
