Geoparks (g11_13_Geoparks)

Updated layer of Geoparks in Andalusia. The figure of Geopark, declared by UNESCO, represents a territory that possesses a particular geological richness and a strategy of sustainable territorial development supported to promote development. Andalusia has three Geoparks: Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park (July 2006), Natural Park of the Sierras Subbéticas (July 2006) and Sierra Norte Natural Park (September 2011), whose last revision is on September 1, 2011
