tRFdb

tRFdb is a database for transfer RNA fragments.tRFs are 14-32 base long single-stranded RNA derived from mature or precursor tRNA and are distinct from the stress-induced tRNA fragments created by cleavage in the anti-codon loop. tRFs have been shown to be important for cell-cycle progression and for regulating the dynamics of RISC.

tRFdb是转运RNA片段（transfer RNA fragments）数据库。tRFs为长度介于14~32个碱基的单链RNA，源自成熟或前体转运RNA，且与由反密码子环切割产生的应激诱导型tRNA片段存在显著差异。已有研究表明，tRFs在细胞周期进程以及调控RNA诱导沉默复合物（RNA-induced silencing complex，RISC）的动态变化中发挥重要作用。
