In order to protect human health, the Air Immission Protection Act (IG-L, BGBl. I 115/97, as amended) sets limit values for various air pollutants in Annex I. Since the last amendment to the IG-L, a programme of measures has to be drawn up if these limit values occur after 1 January 2005. Such a programme is intended to ensure compliance with the limit values in the future.
