Research data supporting "Light management by algal aggregates in living photosynthetic hydrogels"

The dataset contains the raw data for the plots in the figures, in the formats of Excel sheet and Matlab datasheet. The experimental spectra were measured using the integrating sphere while the simulated plots were generated from the Monte Carlo programme (mcxyz). The Matlab scripts for performing the simulation and generating the output files were included in the folder named "Scripts".
