Photographic Documentation of 150 Historic Buildings in the Former Hankou Concessions, Wuhan, China

This dataset contains photographic documentation of 150 historic buildings located in the former concession districts of Hankou, Wuhan, China. The 150 buildings are distributed across five former concessions: 46 buildings in the British concession, 41 in the Russian concession, 38 in the French concession, 10 in the German concession, and 15 in the Japanese concession. The photographs are organized into individual folders corresponding to the 150 surveyed buildings. Each folder is identified by a unique building number and name, allowing images to be associated with specific historic buildings. The photographic collection provides visual documentation of the architectural appearance and characteristics of concession-era buildings in Wuhan. It is intended to support research on architectural heritage documentation, historic building conservation, architectural morphology, and the visual analysis of historic building features. The dataset is distributed in three ZIP archives organized by building identifiers: Buildings_001-050.zip Buildings_051-100.zip Buildings_101-150.zip The collection represents a purposive research sample rather than a complete inventory of all surviving historic buildings in the former Hankou concessions.
