This study involves work on the behavioural ecology of juvenile wild dolphins in Shark Bay, Western Australia. Samuels and Flaherty are tracking the lives of 16 juvenile dolphins in Shark Bay, ranging from age three to age 14 years. The field research aims to focus on the lives of juvenile dolphins in the wild. This information is used to interpret juvenile behavior within social and demographic contexts. The goal is to identify factors that influence the dolphin's behavioral development and affect their survival to adulthood.
