Following surgery for anogenital and gluteal skin tumors, such as extramammary Paget's disease, local compression is essential to promote wound healing, regardless of whether the defect is repaired with a flap or a skin graft. However, the anatomical particularities of this region often make effective compression difficult to achieve. Moreover, patient activity can easily lead to dressing displacement, thereby compromising the compression effect. Traditional methods or commercial products, like bulky gauze fixed with adhesive tape, medical compression shorts, or T-binders, frequently fail due to dressing displacement during patient activity and the inevitable loss of pressure during urination or catheter care. Here, we introduce a straightforward method for enhancing postoperative compression in this area.
