Identification of novel QTLs conferring Plasmodiophora brassicae pathotype 4 resistance in cabbage (Brassica oleracea L. var. capitata) through QTL sequencing

Clubroot is a soil-borne disease caused by Plasmodiophora brassicae, which infects several economically important cruciferous vegetables produced worldwide. In this study, an F2 population with 150 individuals was constructed from the parental lines 20CR01(with CR to race 4) and 27-3-1(susceptible to race 4), and the inheritance of clubroot resistance (CR) in cabbage was investigated through high-throughput QTL sequencing analysis. Two novel CR QTLs, qBoCR2 and qBoCR8, were identified.
