This repository contains datasets and Jupyter notebooks used for the analyses presented in the manuscript: "Marine Cloud Brightening and Precipitation Responses in the Tropical Pacific Ocean" submitted to AGU Earth's Future in May 2026.Contents include:- Processed datasets used in the study- Python notebooks for (preprocessing) bias-correction workflows- Python notebooks for data analysis and figure generationSome preprocessing notebooks rely on external datasets associated with previously published work: Hirasawa, H., M. These scripts ├── biascorrection_MCBruns_T_1_compute_dT.ipynb ├── biascorrection_MCBruns_P_1_compute_dP.ipynbregrid the original ESM outputs to 0.5 x 0.5 degrees resolution and compute factors for biascorrecting near-surface temperature (T), near-surface specific humidity (Q), and precipitation (P) for CESM2, E3SMv2, and UKESM1, between 40 degrees S and 40 degrees N. The biascorrected ESM outputs (bc_*nc) and can be found in the following directory: data_NarenpitakEtAl2026_forRepository/├── MCB_patch/cesm2/biascorrection/├── MCB_patch/e3smv2/biascorrection/├── MCB_patch/UKESM1/biascorrection/ and are used in the analysis in the analysis_notebooks.
