Whole-genome resequencing of Cadaphora sp.
收藏资源简介:
The study aims to perform whole-genome resequencing of Cadaphora sp., a fungus isolated from an industrial wasteland in Vieux-Charmont, France, by the Chrono-environment laboratory at the University of Franche-Comte. As a component of the EU HORIZON-BIOSYSMO project, this research seeks to uncover the genetic foundations of the fungus's exceptional metal tolerance. By sequencing its entire genome, researchers intend to identify specific genes and pathways responsible for its resilience in metal-contaminated environments. The findings from this study could significantly advance our understanding of bioremediation processes, providing novel approaches for managing industrial pollution and rehabilitating contaminated sites, thereby contributing to environmental sustainability and protection.
